THE STUDIO

Based in Munich and led by the architect, Rahel Labib, Studio Labib designs spaces that are eccentric and timeless, while seamlessly combining functionality and originality in the selection of furniture, lighting and materials. Labib's goal is to create refreshing and character-rich spaces that transcend fleeting design trends, while maintaining a playful approach to color and texture. Labib often builds her design themes around personal heirlooms or art pieces and likes to incorporate antiques and ethnic elements into her designs.

Prior to pursuing her passion for interior design, Labib gained valuable experience as an architect in the residential sector and as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co., honing her client communication and project management skills.

Rahel studied Architecture at the Technical University Munich and at Politecnico di Milano and also holds a MSc from London School of Economics. 

Her strong design sensibility is informed by her upbringing in a family of artists, her exposure to diverse cultures and schools of thought, and her persistent curiosity for beauty.
